I do not do well around large bodies of water. Especially nerve-wracking for me are large bodies of water containing sunken man-made objects. Thalassophopia, I think it's called. When I got an invite to join a rowing team practice, I naturally stayed on dry land and drew it instead.

I have yet to master coloring trees in watercolor (I have yet to master many tasks), but I'm better now than I was a year ago, and that's the important thing. Perhaps I should watercolor more trees away from bodies of water.
